Jeweller, gem dealer, writer, gardener, outdoorsman, traveller and angler are just a few of the interests which encompass the day to day life of Brian Lee. Brian is an eminently respected jeweller with over 20 years in the industry of helping people create "just the perfect piece of jewellery" for many special occasions. Brian's jewellery expertise began in his parents' lapidary business, Lee's Jade and Opals Ltd., evolving to become a gem wholesaler with numerous trips to the source mines in South America and Asia, eventually culminating in the opening of his retail jewellery firm, Lee's Fine Jewellery Ltd., in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, in 1981. Since that time, Brian has received many awards including "British Columbia Jeweller of the Year" and membership in the prestigious "Carat Club of Canada" in 1990. An avid angler since the age of three, it was just recently that Brian "hatched" an idea called "GoldenFly". Brian comments, "They say that to be successfull, you must do what you have a passion for
... so what could be more fitting than combining the finer qualities of the jewellery industry with my love of angling?" Thus was hatched "GoldenFly", a collector series of classic trout flies hand-tied on solid 14 karat gold hooks, a most unique gift item for the angling-conscious person who "has everything".
